Google I / O 2022 came and went, and there were a lot of announcements at the two-day developer conference. However, Pixel was the protagonist of the show, and Google provided us with a pile of Pixel announcements to guide us in the summer, fall, and even until 2023.
Have you seen the Google I / O keynote? If so, which Pixel device are you most excited about?
Some of the Pixel devices were pretty much expected at the event. The Pixel 6a is coming soon and has the same design as its flagship product. It also features the same flagship tier Tensor chipset, which is impressive on calls from $ 449 and will be placed in the area of the iPhone SE (2022). Of course, there are some compromises, such as low camera specs and a 60Hz display, but you’ll still get good performance and perhaps good battery life.
The Pixel Buds Pro will be available this summer with the Pixel 6a, finally offering the ANC Pixel Buds we’ve been looking for. It lasts up to 31 hours in the included charging case, supports wireless charging, and looks pretty good.
Google also provided a very early teaser for the Pixel devices we’ll get this fall. The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro have a similar design to the Pixel 6 series. No, it doesn’t give a matte finish as originally said (many people are disappointed). All we know is that they run the next generation Tensor chipset and have similar camera settings. You probably don’t know much about the Pixel Watch, which will be released with future flagship products. It will be the first Wear OS device to run Wear OS, sport LTE connections, and have Fitbit integration.Still, the long-awaited Pixel Watch finally Arrival.
Finally, Google did a very early research on the upcoming Pixel Tablet. By design, it’s very simple and not “premium”, but it seems to compete with the best Android tablets on the market. Unfortunately, it won’t be released until sometime in 2023. Still, it speaks to Google’s commitment to improving the experience of Android tablets. That’s why Pixel Tablet was Andrew Myrick’s favorite announcement on Google I / O.
