Ashley Ryan was on her way to a prenatal doctor’s appointment at the time of the crash of the flames on Thursday, sister Shaseana Carr told ABC7. A Reynold Lester was also among the dead victims.

Lester’s family told ABC7 that the 24-year-old security guard was the father of the unborn child and was listed as “boy Ryan” in online coroner’s records.

Two other women and a man were also killed, but their names were not released on Friday.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a Mercedes-Benz coupe flew a red light at high speed and drove up to 6 near a gas station at the intersection of Slauson and La Brea streets, according to the California Highway Patrol. A truck collided. .

California Highway Patrol said 37-year-old Nicole Lorraine Linton, who was injured in the crash, has been taken into custody at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood on suspicion of gross negligence vehicular manslaughter.

Prosecutors said they could receive the case as early as next Monday, after which they would decide whether to file criminal charges.
